Rob joined Healthier Futures in September 2015 (then Tobacco Free Futures) as Operations Director. He has 20 years’ experience in working across the private and not for profit sectors including professional services, charity management, sports development and housing.
Prior to joining the team, Rob was a member of the senior leadership team of a housing association, with responsibility for ICT and marketing strategies, business continuity, data protection and a number of corporate services. He also led a division of the business providing commercial contact centre and emergency monitoring services to corporate clients.
Previous to that, Rob headed up an outsourcing division of a top 50 accounting and audit firm based in London, providing back office and membership management services to a wide range of professional bodies and membership organisations across the UK. He has also spent a number of years in sports and charity management, with a particular focus on working with young people in the Greater Manchester area.
As an undergraduate, Rob read Classics and Philosophy at Nottingham University. He subsequently completed his MSc in Management at Salford Business School in 2010, and wrote his dissertation on ‘Brand and Corporate Reputation in the Not for Profit Sector’.
