Greer Mulcahey Banks
Greer is Project Support Officer for Campaigns, Engagement and Delivery at Healthier Futures. Greer joined in November 2015, and her role is to support the team with project and campaign delivery.
Upon leaving university, Greer interned with a marketing magazine in Dubai. Following that, Greer has worked in the private sector for over five years. Her first role was for a water filtration company managing their online orders and supporting marketing.
Greer developed a commitment to water and sanitation issues which saw her manage a water project in rural Thailand and also become a volunteer speaker for charity WaterAid.
Greer then moved on to develop her knowledge around child rights and education by first teaching at an NGO-run school in Uganda and then moving into an Education Consultancy role in England.
Here she worked around the country in schools supporting GCSE students and lower years with their English. She also taught GCSE Sociology to a group of gifted and talented year 8 students. Greer has also volunteered for a refugee charity providing both English tuition and administrative support.Greer has an MA in Literature from Essex University and a BA Hons in English and American Literature from Keele University.
