Amy Rowe

Amy is Project Officer for Communications and Marketing at Healthier Futures. Amy joined in 2013, and her role is to support the team with PR and marketing functions including supporting campaigns, events, new business and liaising with the media to generate press coverage.

Amy started her career as an apprentice at Cheshire East Council in the marketing and communications team where she gained a good knowledge of public sector communications and completed an NVQ level 3 in marketing.

Amy was awarded apprentice of the year and became a marketing assistant where she worked closely with local services and elected members to promote local services to residents. During her time in local government, Amy gained an excellent understanding of how local authorities operate and great experience through organising events, producing campaign materials, writing marketing literature and liaising with local press.

Amy recently walked 66 miles across the Yorkshire Dales in 30 hours for charity.
